An in-car incense burner is a natural way of getting unwanted odors out while feeling like you’re settling in to a spa-like interior. Incense is something that has been around for centuries but an in-car is different. You can connect it to your car’s 12 volt outlet or lighter and comes with a switch. However, using the in-car incense burner while driving is quite dangerous, and this is because it is something that can tip over if one is not careful. If you are planning to make your own, be sure to never use it while driving. As long as you follow this strictly, you will never be involved in any kind of accident that would put others at risk.

To make an in-car burner, you will need to find a device that you can plug into the 12 volt like a charger. Connect this charger to a container with a corresponding plug. The container should look either like a thin bottle with a narrow opening or a plate. Put some oil, incense or fragrance inside the container and plug the charger. Allow the burner to heat up. After 3 minutes, switch off the burner. The scent will remain in the car even if the burner has been shut down.

An even simpler burner would be a small bottle with an incense stick. Light it up and let it sit on a firm surface for 5 minutes. Be sure to extinguish the incense stick with water to avoid an accident. As long as you allow it to dry properly, you can re-use the incense stick and have the same familiar scent envelope you.

If you have children, you can’t use the in-case burner in front of them. They may think it is a game. Other warnings would be to end up with a scent that is too overpowering it could give you a headache and affect your driving skills.
